Trunk release button

Trunk release button
I'm doing some work on my car that required me to go into the passenger side fuse box. While in there I decided to install a trunk release button. I followed the Taco Bill thread and others on how to do it and what would be needed. Some of you have stated that you got the button from the local dealership for less than 10 dollars. I called the dealership and gave them the part number on the package in Taco Bill's how to. To my surprise they told me the button cost 59.25 dollars, I even called back and spoke to a different person and was told the same thing. Is this button now made out of gold. I thought Ford was in better shape than Chrysler and General Motors so this type of gouging would not be necessary. I'd like to do this while I'm already working on the car, any other sources for a button.
Thanks
Joe

Get one at Radio Shack. Here's the link that includes the parts list. http://www.cherod.com/mustang/HowTo/TrunkRelease.htm
Or, order the kit from AM.

Thanks for the replies.
I had everything I needed except the button itself. I went to Radio Shack first thing this morning but I thought the buttons were to small and didn't have enough threaded area under the head for where I wanted to mount it. I'm mounting it in that little panel in the armrest like the one from BBR. After the dealership gave me their price I went to a local salvage yard during lunch and they gave me the button for free. I was still not satisfied with the dealership price so I went there after work to make sure they were looking up the right part number. They pulled it up and showed me that part number was no longer available and the new part (I don't remember the part number) cost 59.25. I even asked them to look up the part for a Focus and it showed up costing 40.00 dollars. I'll be completing the install tomorrow after work.

Its all cheap chinese junkola.
Mustangs unlimited sells the OEM button for less than $8.
Search the posts for 'trunk button' for the link.
It even says "trunk release" around the mounting flange.

Well I finished my install this evening. I mounted the button in the center console just like the BBR kit and also finished running the wiring so I can now play my MP3 player. The wiring for it comes out just above the trunk release button.
