a number of folks have this noise and it's worse
if you have torque limiters.....that's why i took
mine off. i'm idling at 750 and the noise is
really quite minimal and doesn't bother me much.

if we are both talking about the same noise, it
goes away when you press the clutch pedal.
Yeah that's it. Goes away when you disengage the clutch in neutral. Yeah at 750 it's like a light "clack-clack-clack-" then fades and comes back again. Annoying. Higher idle solved it.

750 sounds a lot more lopey. I recently put it at 850 to see what it sounds like and even 100 rpms made a pretty big difference in sound. The car also shakes more when you lower the idle to 750 or less.

750 FTW!

Yep it's great aint it?!! By the way, i'm thinking about putting on a hood pin kit and notice you have them on yours. Any problem with the cable flapping in the wind and damaging the paint on the hood??

no problems. I have the Shelby kit and the cord is wrapped in a plastic so there is no issues with scratches or anything. I’ve had other kits that didn’t come close to the quality of the Shelby ones I would recommend not wasting money on anything else. One more reason I like them is the pin is raised so it never touches the hood when its pinned which = less scratches.
