The carbon fiber trim must have been an option or if you guys bought the cars used, then someone added them in. Another possibility on a new car is a dealer after market add on. I have the 09 Pony pkg (completely stock) and it came with the brushed aluminum. The only thing the dealer added on my car were some wagon wheel 20" rims and I opted to not take those. I toke the retro looking Pony 17" rims instead, so they put it back to stock before I took ownership of it.

the carbon fiber dash, HIDs, ambient lighting, and the little chrome rings on the stereo ***** are the options in 2008.

in 2009 you get the option of a glass roof, and ugly side badges.

It's part of the Interior Upgrade package in the '08. Probably the '09 as well.

I went with the 09 GT for a few reasons. One I love the 05-09 body style, two the price had come down because the 10's were out on on the lot. The 45th badge is just an added plus that had no impact on my decision. My main reason is I just didnt like the 10 body style. The only thing I comprimised was the interior color, I wanted the all black but got the black/ tan because thats all they had. BTW if anyone wants the tan interior parts and has black ones to trade I'd be interested.....

You must've bought your 09 around the same time I got mine. I got it in July when the rebates jumped to $4500. When the 10's came out & I didn't like the rear end, it was time to buy. My interior is all black but I'm not looking to swap!
