Found a tuner for sale, but will it work for my car? I have a 2005 GT. The product description says this:

"Diablosport tunable performance programmer. Was downloaded to an 06 Mustang GT/Auto. Box says 05-06 Mustang GT/V6. Car returned to stock and sold."

I didn't think a tuner could be used on either a V6 or a GT? Is this legit?

The programmer itself can be used but the tunes can not. A new set of tunes would need to be loaded in the programmer with the appropriate code from the PCM. So I guess the answer is yes and no.

 

If the tuner still has any of the Diablo CANNED tunes, they MAY work on your car but I wouldn't expect big gains like those from good custom tunes. If the price for the tuner is right then get yourself some good custom tunes from Bama (since Brenspeed doesn't support the Diablo Predator).
