My question is...you said they were fairly new (how many miles on them?). I wonder what made them go bad?

hehe. It sounded like an Ignition problem. So I bought a new set of plugs HT0 (BTW how do you space those things they are .045 and I would like them at .035) and weapon x cops.

I replaced the plugs first, and presto engine worked fine.

Put on the weapon x as well. Car feels running even smoother. The car is an animal to begin with so I could not possibly tell you if I got power gains or not. Next dyno will show....

Well the plugs were on for abt 5000 miles. So indeed new.

I had taken them off a couple of times. (I was trouble shooting some weird engine noise which ended up being a loose header). I was a bit overzealous cleaning them I think.

I'm late to this thread but I will say I don't even run a blower on my daily driver, and when I put the Brisk plugs in (stock replacement) my car does the same thing. I replaced the plugs with Champion and all is good.
