C&L/Bullit intake ?
I wonder if you can use the C&L tubing and filter, but also use the Bullit housing/heat shield. I want to purchase the C&L Racer system, but I like how the Bullit shield looks integrated into the front panel, and is more "closed off" compared to the C&L shield...
why would you do that?
the FRPP CAI is of comparable quality if not better than the C&L.
besides, it might be cheaper to stick with the FRPP CAI and shield, than to mix & match
edit: can't answer your basic question. but here is a picture of the FRPP installed on my car. maybe you can grab a picture of another car with the C&L installed and do a little comparing.

interesting sig pic
that is how it always looked. I've only had the car for 6 months and 2,000 miles. The picture I posted was takan about 2 hours after I drove it home. It's probably just shipping dust/debris....but I'm too lazy to clean under the hood.
