Default 1/4 window louvers

I was wondering for those of u that have this particular mod how well they hold up in a car wash. I do hand wash my car as much as i can but like to keep it clean during the winter even though i dont drive it much. are u scared of taking it through the car wash with these on. thanks

Although I've never subjected my Stang to that type of lunacy (sorry but that's how I feel about putting a Stang thru a car wash), I'd have to say that considering how rock solid my louvers are after more than 2 years and 30,000+ miles that they'd hold up well to beating beaten by wet soapy towels slapped at them or spinning chunks of whatever over and over.

I agree and i hate doing it. I havent done it yet this year and hopefully wont have to. I wish my garage was set up to be able to wash it inside. Funny i was washing my car this summer and an older gentleman was walking and came up and said i dont see that very often. (hand washing a car) I was like i do it atleast twice a week during the year when weather provides me the luxury. And in indiana the winters arent too bad. I washed my car in november. anyway thanks for the comment

as long as they arent cervinis they should be fine, those are the only ones with fitment issues that im aware of....ive never seen a set actually fit perfectly, and on top of that they all peel and have to be re-done.

Yeah, my car is an '06 and I tried pulling into a car wash just after I bought it ..... the resistance from the steering wheel to turn into the car wash driveway was so intense that I've never tried it again. I've had my SHR quarter window louvers since they were first introduced and never had any issues with wind or water.
