Haha, you're right. Living in the flat lands I hardly ever think about those places. Those people should be planning for a good snow fall this week. We are supposed to have 4 or 5 storms rolling in one after the other. That means rain for most of us, and snow for them. I'll bet there will be some knuckle heads that will rush up to go skiing even if the roads are treacherous. Getting up to Big Bear (Snow Summit) is bad enough on a good day, but on a rainy snowy day it is murder.

Been to Mammoth and Tahoe a couple of times and man that is beautiful up there. Really puts Big Bear to shame.
