Pricing for 2011
#12
Yeah I wouldn't of been able to afford my car in a 2011... I would have had to opt out of features and most likely would not of ended up in a mustang because of it.... On top of dealers most likely not dealing on the 2011 makes me even happier I ended up with a 2010... even though I didn't have a choice at all (my car was totaled and I needed a new car). The 2011 will be a hell of a car, but you pay a price for that. I'll take my 2010 I love the power and everything else I got with it. when I get bored of the power I'll add a roush or whipple supercharger.

Base model GT coupe, here I come
And holy crap at the V6 Premium Convertible costing MORE than the base GT coupe!!! WTF? Who in their right minds would purchase that and lose nearly 100hp? Nevermind. Don't need to know. Anyways, the price on the GT premium package is higher than I'd like to see it, but oh well. At least it's not a 5k jump like I was dreading.
Now the question is, what are they going to do with the pricing on the 2010 GT's? I still see a ton of them clocking in at $35-37k on cars.com

$33685 for the GT Premium Coupe
that is about $1,000 cheaper than the MSRP of my Bullitt...and basically same "convenience" options.
but once you factor in the 400+ HP motor, the 6 speed tranny, the 19" rims with better rubber...not a bad deal at all. it's actually quite a decent price IMO.
Wonder how much the Track Pack II will cost. didn't see that in their pricing scheme.
@ Pascal. I wouldn't be too worried about the base GT being above $30k. Hell, my car was $34,500 MSRP. I drove her off the lot for $27,500. Those who buy the 2011 immediately will get bent over, but those who wait for the demand to die out will get a smoking deal I think.

Im seriously thinking about the base v6 model 22-23k for 305 horses is tempting compared to a 30k 370z. , Sucks no 3.73 gear option for it. Does anybody know how much a employee discount will take off ? I have a uncle who works for Ford so that will help , Not sure if I can get the x plan or a plan but either will do.

We all had to know that with the increases in performance for 2011, the price was going to increase accordingly. The decision to purchase or not is an individual issue. The options open to anyone looking to purchase a NEW car are really wide open. You will be able to get some great deals on the existing 2010GT’s; there are still a lot of Shelby’s and Roush Mustangs out there to be had. One only needs to be patient.

But I rather bargain from $27K than $30K+
I so agree with you, the first ones to get the 2011 will get no deals.
I'll be sticker for sure and maybe mark ups.

Looks like my 4.6 is not looking so bad at all now! I just priced out a 2011 GT with my current build and it was 31,495 okay KBB puts my car at about 22,995 this time next year if i get dealer to inflate my trade to 24,900 thats like $6500 difference for all that I can just put a nice blower on and let my baby whine all day long! $6500 dollars for the new GT would leave me no room or money for mods and I dont even want to hear how much aftermarket parts will be! But you guys that have 05-08 and have your car paid down for it I say jump for it! Pricing is not bad at all!
