you already have fords version of Posi-track. Trac-Lok. Their limited slip axle. So no need.

Depends what you use your car for. If you race a bit, use it for weekends, and aren't adding FI, then get 4.10's...otherwise 3.73's or 3.90's (if available for these, idk). The latter is a good upgrade anyway. It just depends if you need extra pull.

I hear MGW makes good shifters for S197's.

Good luck.

You should take the big front pic out of your sig too- there are "size limits", fyi.

How about a Detroit locker with 4.11s and 31 spline axles?

I am 51 and I have 4.10s and an MGW shifter. The 4.10s really wake up the drivetrain - makes 4th gear relevant again. It's my DD. The MGW has made it a little louder, but now I am addicted to the noise. Maybe I do have extreme tendencies. If I had to do it again - 4.10's without a doubt.

I also went with 4.10s. My 06 came with 3.55, so 3.73 wouldn't have been worth it. My car is my DD and I drive about 65 miles per.day with 90% of the miles being on the hwy.

I have 3.73 in my GT500 with an even shorter throw shifter than stock...and most of the time I wish I have more acceleration than I have now. But I'm insane. I would step up to 4.10 if I could...but even with Nitt0 555R Extremes in a 305 I can still blow em off...so 4.10s would just be worse.
