i'm just submitting that if water is going

What, you don't think Fords 1/2 inch of white foam and plastic on the SJB is good enough?

That will work for short term issues at least.

I have a theory about why the leak happens in the passenger side and not the drivers. The crown of the road means the passenger side of the car is usually lower than the drivers side. What do you yall think?

A little late, but I meant to post a couple of pics for you.
This is the area the OP is talking about, those rectangle holes...

Just dropped my womans 05 GT off at the Ford Dealer for out of warranty leak fixing. Supposedly they have a leak doctor that they work with that guarantees his work and has worked with this dealership for a long time. I asked specifically if he can tell me where the leak was coming from once he is done. I will report back with his findings as soon I get the car back.

I tried the grommet fix and the water catch area under the cabin air filter and neither of those were the problem.

good luck dude. when i called and asked about it, they told me that they have never heard of it. i mean seriously its from 05 -09!!! I had to give them the TSB number and asked if they have ever worked on that before. They told me no they had not but they have replaced a few SJB because they had failed

i have also sealed my grommets with no luck and the leak is definitely coming from under the passenger side dash. the stealership quoted me $250-$300 bux, but i do no trust them after what they told me.

Please let me/us know what the problem was, ask them to be specific!
