I've been looking at this hood and the Boy Racer hood. both are very similiar. I am hoping that the vents will not only help with heat extraction but with relieving the build up of pressure in the engine compartment at high speeds. Can you guys that have this hood comment as to that point? Do you guys still get some bad hood shaking/rattling at 100+?

The hood looks great, plus it's not a hood that you will see around very often (I have not seen another one on a Mustang in my area) which is a big plus for me.
As for a picture...I don't have shots that really show off the hood but I will try to get out and take some this weekend...if my car leaves the garage--we got blasted with snow and ice.
Which Cervini's heat extractor hood do you have? The black and white picture in your sig looks awesome! I may have to look into one for my 2007. I'm anxiously awaiting your pics!

The spider cracks are a real deal...I have two very small ones. One is located on the front, center portion of the hood, and one on the right side where the rubber bump stop is located. They are small and not very noticeable but they are there.
Fit...the one issue is hood shake above 75 -80ish...it's annoying but I hear this can be pretty common with a lot of hoods. It is probably what caused the spider cracks in the finish. Hood pins will obviously fix this, but I am not sure I would like the way it would look so not sure if I am going to install them or not.
Sorry for not having pictures still...my car has no left my garage because of the weather we had...since it melted, it's been a mess so it's been hibernating through it.

Yes...starts at about 75-80. Not 100% of the time...but yes hood shake is an issue.

As far as releasing heat...it does do that, very well. It's actually kind of cool to see heat waves flowing out of the vents when stopped. It's like watching your car exhale.

Nice pics... The spider cracks consern me a bit though; especially on a black car!

That hood looks great! It looks like it fits very well, too; the gaps are uniform and not super-wide like on some aftermarket hoods.

Is this Cervini's hood?
