93 Tillman All Out Tune
You can do it but it takes a little practice. It's sort of a "hair trigger" so to speak. But I like it that way as opposed to all the slop in the factory tune. Nice to have the car actually respond to your input.
I have the Tillman 93 All Out Tune as well on my V6. I can tell you this...... If it'll make my V6 respond the way it does, I can't imagine what it will do to the V8. I've used "canned" tunes before and they don't come close to the Tillman All Out. I ordered mine on their website for about 75 bucks I think. It loaded really quick too with the SCT-X3 tuner. Throttle response is amazing, idle is steady and even, and it cuts through gears like nobody's business (mine's an automatic). I say go for it!
Maybe a little off the main topic, maybe not...Does anyone know how many different tunes can be loaded on the SCT-X3 tuner? Is there sufficient memory to hold 3 tunes from Brenspeed, 3 from Tillman, and maybe a couple from Bama, while still keeping the stock tune in memory? Or, would you have to delete some of them to make room for new tunes? I do understand that as you do more modding, your tunes need to be updated. Curious as to it's capacity. Also, am I correct in assuming once you purchase an SCT-X3 tuner, that you can buy tunes as a download through the internet. Is the computer interface USB? Thanks.
I am not 100% positive but im pretty sure you can only have 3 tunes on the tuner at any given time. If they are emailed to you just save them on your computer and load on what you need. The stock tune is always saved on the tuner.
