How many of the 298 miles were at the end of the tow hook?

I didn't buy a Stang for the economy. I bought it for the wood I get when I drive it.

Don't sweat mods for economy. They'll cost you more for the mod than the cost of the fuel over the life of the car. Do your best to develop good driving habits that save gas so you'll feel a little better when you DO bury the pedal.

+1
But instead of ahem, wood, it's a warm little fuzzy feeling inside for me.

I like to let my pony cruise when I can to stretch the fuel, but when I step on the gas, it's on!

Didn't buy this car for gas economy either.. if I can get it, it's a plus, but I don't really sweat it either. I don't drive too much to begin with so it's not too big of a deal for me.

Really, MPGs are all about the driver and the tune, when I get to road tripping to Orlando, I get ~26mpg on the round trip, give or take a few tenths with ALL the mods listed in my sig. First trip I took there when the car was still stock with 3.31s I made ~25mpg on the round trip and that was with the 3.31s still in the car. A good tune and using that little thing called cruis control will help you save a lot on gas money lol
