Does the kit work on a car that came with factory HIDs?

The problem is completely fixed. The battery voltage was nominal. I bought some aftermarket HID bulbs and now I got headlights. 8000k, should be less bright, but damn man they light up everything now. Plus they are the same tint as the Audi's. Blue! So the stock HID bulb in the factory equipped Mustangs use a "D3R" bulb. Highly recommend for Factory Mustang HID systems.

Just so we are clear, I am not a promoter of this place. I feel that I got a good buy, without buying cheap Chinese HID bulbs. I paid about $159 for both shipped. They are the "D3R" or "D3S" bulbs. I got the D3S's in 8000k. now when I drive down the street, signs that are far away seem to be glowing now. Especially the road dots on the freeway. Feels like I am landing on a runway, they appear to be glowing.

yes the kit works with any car. it just depends on wich kit you would want, and mine a 10,000 which are kinda blue. stock comes with 8,000 which are kinda blue but more white. it just depends on what you want. the kit comes with box, bulbs, ballasts and wiring. its up to you and if you would rather put a new batt in which idk what it is going to do, or i you put new (non-HID) bulbs in. just let me know.

Yea, I just bought bulbs and it took me about 10 minutes a side to put them in. Real easy. The hardest thing was pulling back the metal clips from around the plug. I didnt remove the headlights or anything. Just pulled off the rubber boot, twisted out the bulb, then unplugged the bulb from the harness.
