Did you install them with a relay harness? If not, that could be the issue. My HIDs would light both bulbs for about 10 seconds, then one would shut off. I installed a relay harness (it basically draws a pure 12V from the battery and sends it straight to the ballasts) and voila - no more issues.

The kit comes with relay harness. Good idea though.

Is yo relay 'clicking' in response to the demand for headlights from the driver?

Does the relay click on and off in conjunction with the headlight switch>
Is the 12V present at the relay and ballast(s) with the headlight switch on?

I did not notice any clicking. However, my dad was the one outside of the car when I started it to see if they would come on. I will have to ask him. Side question, does the car have to be on, for them to come on? Or can I just put the key in and turn on the electronics and test them that way?

I haven't tested connections with a multimeter. I didn't have one. I will have to see if I can locate one.
