The only thing that helps is I have a pedistal spoiler on the back which blocks alot of my vision and light from behind.

If the light isn't hitting those sensor then it will not work. It is possible that the spoiler and the position of the rear view is just right that the sensors are blocked.

Joe...I have that same issue...sometimes it seems to work well(lights darken to a greenish hue)...most of the time it doesn't work for sh*t. I was going to tell the service dept. when I had my oil changed and forgot as it was daytime and I don't take the car out at night much at all. BTW...I have the stock lip spoiler...so that blocking the headlights is not an issue for me. (There is also some distortion towards the bottom of the rear window where the defroster stops.) Are we the only ones with this rearview mirror issue? Jon

I have the spoiler delete (mandantory on trackpack) and my dimming mirror works great. It dims the bright lights just enough to still see behind me but not get blinded by gigantic trucks.
