Mostly I drive highway about 90%.........I usually get around 19mpg but i could get a lot better if i didn't have my foot in it. I have the 4.6L 5spd manual with 3.31's in the pumpkin.

4.6l 3.73 and 5 speed manual....90 percent of my driving is around town and I get about 18, with some spirited driving of course.

I get 19-22 mpg mostly hwy driving with an 2006 gt. If you drive hard then your mpg will suffer. If you drive non aggressively, you could get 24-26 mpg. There are mods you can do that will improve mpg. Example a tuner and intake= +2 mpg

That's a loaded question. There are so many variables to fuel mileage it's not funny.

My Stang isn't my DD but 90% or more of my driving is highway and I average 21 MPG. When I drive nonstop, gas pump-to-gas pump highway I can get 25-26 MPG hand calculated if I can keep it under 70 MPH.

My g/f's '06 V6 does about 1-2 MPG better on the highway than my GT. All city driving and she gets about 15 IF she's lucky but she has a lead foot.

BTW, the on-board computers are typically 1-2 MPG conservative; in other words, they'll show a higher MPG than actual. And a CAI & tune will NOT improve gas mileage enough for you to notice. I'll challenge anyone to show me their 50 or more "before" and 50 or more "after" data points. Anything less than that and I won't even listen.

Took a 350 mile trip today. Mostly interstate going a gas saving 60 mph. The MPG display said 29.6 at the end of the trip. Usually it's about 2 mpg higher than what it actually is. So, today I got about 27 and a half mpg. Yes, it would be worse if I drove 70 mph+.

I used to get about 28 MPG on the hywy, then it dropped to about 18 to 19 mpg on the hwy about 3 months or so ago! I can't explain it.
