'11 MT Skip Shift?

hawkeye, you've made a great choice on the car, but why not get from the military sales? I got a few grand of my 2010 when i ordered it in iraq. You can always cancel your deal and go with this. The ordering the car is a great choice! I had lots of fun spending money on parts while sitting in the sand! Wishing you a safe trip and safe return!
Oh, and on topic.. that would suck... why do people act like its better to have less options? i skip shift like most people when i'm granny driving.. Does the dash tell you what gears are out so you don't accidently try and jam into one only to find it blocked? Seems you'd spend extra time in neutral.. bad place to sit for miliage.

Precisely. Magnuson-Moss act states that unless you directly caused the failure of said warranty claim item, they must honor it. Melting the pistons off a tune would be a good way of voiding your warranty; I have a tough time believing disabling a solenoid in the shifter would cause any damage in the trans itself.
