Jeez Alkemist, I bet you're ready to wrap your car from bumper to bumper in bubble wrap by now! I hope your luck turns around real soon!

like we say all the time at my work place

" this sh$% will buff out " lol yup. I had 2 of them. one on the driver side fender right on the flare, and the second one was in the pillar above the door. I didn't really pay attention to 'em as much untill someone said, yo you've got two dings, here... aaaand here. then they got to me. Now they got fixed. soo.. fix it

Sorry to hear about yours..... if you see it, it's going to eat away at you so I would just get it repaired.
wow, that really blows. Funny to think, one of the first things on my mind when I just woke up was that dent in my car I better look around and see if I can find someone.

The original owner of my car left quite a few dings and key marks that are definitely noticeable on my car. They annoy me but id rather buy a few mods then worry about dents later since i know i will eventually get another if i fix all the current ones.

Default Fuel Door "Ding" Alert

I had a similar experience within a week after I purchased my 07 (new) about 3 years ago. I was filling up gas on a gorgeous summer day. After I put away the nozzle, I stepped back and bent the fuel door backwards. I didn't notice anything until a few days later, when I saw a ding (crease) where the fuel door must have contacted the body. I was not happy with Ford's poor design of the fuel door. I called the dealer, back then and they recommended a paintless ding repair guy. I didn't have it fixed, however, as I was concerned it wouldn't work, or that it would make it worse. Also, I didn't want to spend too much time researching who would be the best in Cincinnati for such a job. I never repaired the ding, but would love too, if possible. It's not really noticeable, to anyone else, but it has driven me nuts ever since. Only a fellow Mustang owner could really appreciate my pain. Lesson learned, always be careful around your fuel door when it is opened.
