Default Non-electronic pkg

I don't have the electronics package, so I do not have the SAT or Phone option..

I know you can make your radio SAT capable with a receiver plugged into the back of the radio, but is this the same for the bluetooth/phone option? If so, has anyone taken apart their car like that? I do not want to start having rattling pieces..

Aside from that, I went to a trade show the other day.. Metra is coming out with a dash kit for aftermarket radios/head units/in-dash nav etc.. within a month, and that Scosch is telling people they have it but are not shipping it out..

I am very interested in doing these upgrades. If anyone has any experience with it, thanks in advance.

You don't need the Electronics package ... you just need SYNC. I thought all 2010 GT's had SYNC ...

SYNC includes Bluetooth Phone connectivity, USB music player connectivity and Turn by Turn Directions and Traffic.

The Metra faceplate looks interested .... But I see it's $250 for the Faceplate + $180 for the SYNC adapter + the HU ... Ouch!

I guess I just need SYNC for the bluetooth.. I was asking if that is installed the same way that satellite radio is (With a receiver plugged into the back of the radio)

All Premium GTs have SYNC, with 6 mnths free Sat Radio - you can just pay/subscribe after the 6 mnths are up. I don't know if the GT Deluxe comes with that option or not.

No Sync on the GT Deluxe. According to FordEngineer (where is he BTY?), it would require a hugh amount of effort and money to install it.
