So, I filled up gas at 1 of the ethanol free stations

thanks robs for the info. After reading your post I read a little bit on ethanol in gas. You are right about it oxygenating the fuel. It's supposed to help with lowering emissions. After reading on it a bit it's very controversial though whether it actually does that. I still think the gas companies should leave it out since cars get better fuel economy without it. From people I've talked to and read on the internet ethanol ends up letting water get in gas and makes boats run terribly.

Call bs all you want, I'm fairly sure I know how to do my math. That is running 91 octane, no ethanol. The roads I get that on are flat and straight and all I do is set the cruise. That is going immediatley from pump to pump, no stops for 300 miles. In town it drops like crazy and I'll get around 18. I thought I was retarded the first time I figured it too, but unless my odo or the pump are lying, 33 is right. I've only gotten that maybr three times, but it is still around 30mpg at 80.

Wyo07GT, you are bone stock. What tires are on the car? Do you over pump the tires or leave them 32? I bought luxury tires for a smoother ride and lower road noise. They have been good but are getting louder as they wear out. Unfortunately, these tires pulled my MPG down a couple of numbers. I do enough to compensate for that though. I usually run my tires 34 PSI on front, 32 or 30 on back. 30 is still ok. The reason I am sure of this is a relative of mine has a Cadillac and the door sticker says use 30 PSI. I figured if a car that is heavier than mine is fine with 30, then any car that weighs less is fine too.

You do have to take into consideration his 33 mpg @ 80 mph indicated (Would be 76 mph in my car) fuel mileage is likely occurring at 6000' in Wyoming. The PCM leans down the AFR but the air is much thinner up their which reduces his drag,
