Mine's not welded...seems like a good idea though...hmm

 

Looks like Ill be making some visits to muffler shops to get prices on welding tomm. While Im at it should I get the pipes welded also? If you look at the Taco Bill write up his pypes are one piece from manifold to axle. Mine are two pieces with clamps.
