Here's my small problem. My car goes in next week to have the damage repaired and the new Cervini's '67 hood installed. My only issue now is, what color to re-do the stripes. I don't want to go the matte route again, they ended up losing their "matte-ness" and started to shine, so I was looking at a dark/slate/charcoal gray. My painter said that a dark red metallic would look really cool since I have the red interior. I love the idea of doing something not too many people have done, but I don't know if I have the ***** to paint red stripes on my car. Now I'm stumped.

Anyone have dark red stripes? How about dark gray? Can I get a few examples?

I dont think thats a good choice bro, its like the lambo doors, yeah youll be different, but theres a reason why people just don't do stuff

 

I have seen black with red stripes and its not that bad.....

 

zkiller on this board has a car with dark red stripes. It looks sharp. Look up his profile.

 

This may give ya an idea what red strips on black would look like. I have vinyl strips on my stang also. I'm totally happy with vinyl. Looks very nice.

I went with the Geranium red that BaltimoreStreetMods sells. It matches the red leather interior almost perfectly. Couldn't have made a better choice imo.





Man the *** end looks high...so glad I lowered it.
