I have an issue where the shifter on my 2005 GT is really stiff first thing in the mornings to the point where I have to put all my strength to get it into the gears for the first 5 min of driving. After that, and when the car has warmed up, it's like butter in each gear. I think this sounds like a fluid issue in the transmission in that the gears are not properly lubricated until the transmission has warmed up. I don't think that it would be linkage related, because the problem goes away after driving.

Any thoughts????
