Thumbs up Subs Report

Well, after having driven a few miles and listening to some FM & CDs, I can definately say the Shelby Subs were a good upgrade for my Shaker 500. Really sounds cool.

I wouldn't say it "Thumps", like a trunk mounted 12" woofer, but they just plain make the music sound better, even makes it clearer.

Did it come with the speaker grilles or does it re-use the factory ones?

Can you use the factory covers instead of the Shelby grills? Or do you have to use the Shelby grills because of the woofer?

And (sic) spacers to make them fit (sic).

Paying for the Shelby Emblem and not for quality sound.
Tisk Tisk...
There is one born everyday....
Subs in the doors is just wrong.
Even the OEM "door subs" were just
mid bass drivers.
Bass is omnidirectional and subs belong in the trunk
in a sealed/ported enclosure, not in the doors in a
free-air configuration.

You have to use the spacers and new grills. As for "one being born every day", there's no doubt the overall sound is improved. there is no additional BUZZZZZ. I, myself, am pleased with what I got for the money (and I am the only one that has to be happy with it, I wrote the check).

The reason I ask about the grills is that I have the gray interior, wonder if I could find a paint that matches and paint the grills to match
