where'd you get them and are they a direct swap? I'm looking to replace my door "subs". Lemme know how they sound!

 

Hope to install tomorrow? GTFO and go put them in! They are plug and play, should take no more than 15 minutes to put them in...

 

 

Got my 8" Shelby door subs installed in my '06 GT 'vert with Shaker 500. Not quite a direct bolt in 15 minute job as kingsofcrunk indicated, but not bad. The hardest part is getting the door panels off & back on. Just need to read the instructions carefully and be careful.

How do they sound? They sound GREAT. Definitely an improved, richer sound. It didn't sound bad before, but it's better now. A worthwhile mod.

I got them from Champion Mustang. They were like $139.95, $10 cheaper than The Shelby Store. I think shipping was like $17. A note, they stick out slightly farther out of the doors, but not a problem.

 

Does anyone actually have the shelby setup with the 4.1 amp? I wanna know how these door subs sound like with the whole sha-bang.
