Default How hard is installing a boost guage and a roush vent pod?

So i ran some searches and didn't find specifically what i was wanting to read. if i missed the info sorry. I am wondering how difficult it is to install a boost gauge of the mechanical type and the Roush vent pod. anyone done this that can chime in.

i'm not a complete retard, but i am no mechanic either. I am thinking its a matter of poking a hole in the vent duct for the tubing and hooking into a vacuum line then finding a wire for the light that comes on with the other gauge lights. That about right? Any idea what wire under the dash will turn the light on with the other gauge lights. Anyone know a good write up somewhere online?

The boost gauge shouldn't be too challenging to hook up even if youre not a mechanic, try and find a write-up. As far as the vent pod it's pretty easy. You only need a screwdriver if memory serves me and the roush directions are well written

Any reason to get a boost only as opposed to boost/vac other than preference?

You might want to consider getting an Aeroforce gauge as you can monitor a wide range of parameters including boost (with the use of a separate MAP sensor).
