Unlocking an Xcal2?
Ok, now this just threw me for a loop.
I have an SCT XCal2 that I use on my 04 Ford F-250 diesel. Its the only truck its ever been used on. So that means I can use that same Xcal2 on 4 more vehicles, meaning I don't technically have to buy another Xcal?
It has 3 programs on it...I'd like to have one tune for the mustang and two tunes for my truck (street, towing and then stock, right now it has the 1st 2 and "looney" on it plus "return to stock")

It is locked to your VIN until you reload the stock tune.
Then it can tune another VIN, but one at a time.
Then 3 more VINs left. ONE AT A TIME.

Ok, thanks for the info. Now to order the plug n play kit thing for the xcal 2
So if I set my Diesel back to stock and then get the upload kit and upload the tunes for my mustang, I can then use it on my stang? See, I had asked this question when I first registered and got a "no", but that contradicted what i'd been told by the installer.
