It will fit if you have a cowl hood...

This is with the hood closed....

thanks loots06 do you have washers under the brace on all four sides? Is it just one washer on each mounting point? I noticed your mounting nut threads right to the top of the bolt on the strut tower is that correct? Thanks for your help I cannot wait to try it on my car.

I have an 06 GT and it clears the plenum fine. It did rub on the hood shield, so I replaced that with a plastic one aftermarket and the same problem. However, mine did not ship with the OEM plenum cover. Bought that on ebay, and the thing wouldnt fit forwards or backwards. So I had to choose between the strut bar or the plenum cover. Right now, plenum cover is winning. As far as the hood clearing it...it did but barely.

Another thought on this...since this is supposed to provide some horizontal stability, is it just me or is nobody else concerned that maybe the washer trick to create the angle or "breathing room" might run the risk of snapping off the top of the bolts? Not that I am not willing to try it...just worried that the forces involved make the washer trick a little bit of a gamble since the torque or force being applied is perpendicular to the shaft of the bolt...

Well I could have just used it on one side but I wanted it to be even, four washers on each end. If i had the shorty style fuel injectors I dont I would need the washers. The blue pencil injectors that I using now are about 3/4" taller. I dont think this would work with the stock hood, my car has a 3 cowl hood.

OK I got it installed this weekend and it clears the supercharger with about one half inch to spare, it does touch the intake tube but I could care less. I used a washer on the right side only. I have a vert so this mod is a big deal. Cowl shake is down dramatically, handling is more precise at speed. I was told about two years this would not work but it does and the bar is $19. All whipple owners should do this with out hesitation. Thanks Loots!!
