Default C&L racer intake elbow warpage?

I'm trying to decide between the CL racer and JLT.
Has anyone heard or experienced any warping issues with plastic inlet
tubes. Live in Texas with hot ambient temps. Thanks.

I have had my C&L Racer for almost 2 years and I don't have any problems with it. I'm in Austin.

True. I've heard stories of other mfg's having issues with heat distortion. Could be more due to overtightening clamps etc. Just needed a quick santity check before deciding...

I used to have a Metro. The one summer we were in the middle of a heat wave and I put a thermometer in my car while it was sitting in the sun. 160 degrees open air temperature and nothing bad happend

Shoulda turned on the heater!
