Whipple ordered!
I spoke with Jared at Lethal Performance today and ordered the polished Whipple HO and got a great deal. It's going to come with an SCT X3 and two custom tunes by Jon Lund. One is a smog legal tune and the other is a performance tune. I'll be joining the Whipple crew soon. Can't wait to get this baby and install it!
Does anyone have any tips on installing the Whipple? Anything I should look out for? Also, how long did it take to install it yourself? Thanks!

I'll do a search for Whipple threads.
Thanks! I'm not sure what size pulley it comes with and I don't plan to upgrade the pulley. I'm not looking for any particular hp numbers either. This will just be for daily driving and fun; no racing. I'll be happy if I come close to the stated numbers on the website.
nice man, the car will be a lot of fun boosted! I just finished my Kenne Bell install and it's nice to have a fast car again
pretty funny with the wide powerband of the blower it pulls really smooth and it's deceptive how quick the car is. you end up looking at the speedo and saying "is that how fast I'm going!?"
I'm sure the whipple is a pretty similar install to my KB, they're both basically the same setup and modifying the same things. I'm guessing I have about 25 hours in my install from step 1 to the end. I did it over three days, could have finished in 2 but I started late the first day so I didn't get in a whole day. if whipple's directions are as good as KB's you'll be fine. it's just time really, not hard, you don't even need a lot of tools for the job.
good luck!

Thanks man! Gonna update my sig once the Whipple is on.
Thanks! Make sure to call up Jared @ Lethal if you decide to go with the Whipple.
Thanks and congrats on the Kenne Bell! I'm sure I'll be grinning ear to ear once I'm boosted.
I'm guessing the Whipple install should take a bit less time since no sheet metal will be cut to fit the intake tube like the Kenne Bell. I've already read through the Whipple install sheet I found by doing a forum search. The install sheet was from a link provided by Hammeron. It looks pretty easy; just takes time.
Thanks for your advice about calling Lethal! I got a good deal because of it. Oh, and I'm in San Jose.
lol
