Surprised you feel safe running those huge numbers on the stock bottom end? Those are some great numbers, very respectable for sure.

yea I was suprised to when i heard the #'s. was kinda worried cause i have the 11-12 PSI pulley on it and in the dyno it read that it maxed out at 13.6 PSI i was like O BOY thats a lot for a stock block. but a buncha guys told me to relax and NO worries cause the guy who tuned the car is supposed to be one of if not the best tuners around. He did 5 hard pulled on the dyno and ive run the car pretty car at the track a few times.

Some things I've learned when I used to chase performance:

* There is ALWAYS someone faster than you.
* You will NEVER recoup what you spent on performance upon resale.
* Shoulda spent all that HP money on stuff and people in life that REALLY matter.
* If people only remember you for your car/motorcycle and how fast and cool it was and not the type of person you were then thats pretty sad.

But hey, if ya got the bottomless cash to throw around and numbers and times is what ya dig then go for it.

I would love to charge my Mustang, but for those Vette guys and Cobras and pretty much anyone else (looking for Ferraris and Lambos) Theres a little black sleeper in a garage that will lay waste to them

getting blown is awesome

lol yeah, i thought my car was fast too, it's not blown, but let this put it into perspective

-Dad's best friend has a brand new Lamboghini LP-560-4, quite possibly one of the sickest rides in the world. over 550 hp right out of the factory. With the e-gear paddle shift tranny the car goes 0-60 in 3.4 seconds. It's amazing to think that a 30 thousand dollar car with say...10 grand invested can possibly ballpark the same speed as a $295,000 car

Cars not built for drag, but it may see one this summer. Similar builds have been getting ~>10S all depends on prep and tires. I'll post a slip if we go to a strip
