Default Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter installation!!!!

Ok I'm changing out my Stock Shifter for a Steeda. The thing is I'm reading the reviews and people love the shifter but they say the noise level from the gears goes up a notch. I would like to know if anyone has any idea what type of insulation I should use to keep the noise level at a minium?

For my Pro 5.0 (which is almost identical to the Steeda), I did a couple things to help keep the additional NVH under control. This included using the stock front rubber bushing instead of the poly one, added an insulator made from thin plumbing rubber mat between the shift handle and shifter, and installed some dynomat between the rear mount and the body.

Mine works great and has very minimal extra drivetrain noise.

Our shifters now include additional measures to control NVH. Just make sure you order one direct from us, some older stock in the field may not have the new hardware.

I take it I can pick up the rubber plumber matt and dynamo from a Lowes or Homedepot?
