ok first I have to say thanks to sowaxeman for the idea when I saw yours I had to do mine and I think it came out just fine. I did it a little different as fare as supplies. I used a sheet of light panel as for the rug I went to my local fabric shop and found something that looks pretty close to the trunk carpet and it was real easy to work with.so far I am getting really good complements on it.so thanks agene sowaxeman sweet idea...here are the pix.s

I actually like yours best, duce! The premade ones shown on the thread look like snowboards! Not enough coverage.
You could sell one to me if you'd describe installation and if you can paint the ponys yellow!
Serious, about this. It would be a great opportunity for you to make some $$$, and there are lots of people on Ebay waiting...

I'll take 2 of them...one for each stang. What is the price?

As a do-it-yourselfer, I prefer to save money!! Mine took me 2-3 hours, $20 in material - AND it covers the top holes as well! I have since added a pony emblem, and it is also where I stick my dash plaques from shows.

As for getting extra points at shows - they DO judge the trunk and I do see the judges taking notice compared to the stangs next to me without it

I'll post an updated pic when I get back home and can snap a couple more.

Oh yeah - nice job duce

That is cool looking duce! Nice job! Wonder if you could maybe put one of these on it in the middle like these?

Now that I've been thinking about it, this might look kinda nice in the front license plate area since its only a half plate size piece of metal there on the front of the Mustang...and our state doesn't require a front plate. Might look cooler than putting a running Mustang plate there that only repeats the mustang emblem on the grill...hmmm
