i am not doing headers until my funds replenish if ya know what i mean haha, but i guess what i was getting at by posting this thread was trying to figure out if the cat delete throwing a code would cause my car to run differently.... i know it will cause a code to be thrown but will it mess up my cars engine or drivability....?

Before you do this... take off your mufflers. Turn on the car, rev the car. That is a sneak peek of how it will sound. It will sound terrible. Don't waste your time messing with the cats. Even with some long tubes it will still be extremely high pitched.

well i am also doing X pipe duals and cat delete, so no removing the mufflers on a catted single Y pipe would not give me a sneak peak, I GOT THE SETUP FOR THE CAT DELETE FREE

It doesn't matter if you have an X pipe, Y pipe, or H pipe... It will still be high pitched, and duals will just make it louder. The X-pipe will make it even raspier..

Yes, please, go right ahead and increase the toxicity of the emissions your car releases right into the air we breathe. Thanks bud.

I love modding, but the cats are there for a reason.

Keep the cats, put on the x-pipe and duals. Simple as that.
