Well I checked my window sticker today and got a nasty suprise. My order and the sticker dont agree. Dealers paperwork all says spoiler delete. Window sticker has no spoiler delete.

We had Ford make a change to the order after it was initially placed (different axle ratio). No problem getting it done but that has to be done manually by Ford Corporate. I have sinking feeling they screwed up my order dropping the spoiler delete when they were making the change.

With 5 days until B-Day I dont have much faith in getting this fixed unless the window sticker is in error instead.

Anyone had this issue before?

 

Did you inform your Ford dealer? What did they say?

 

I informed him 30 seconds after I discovered it. He has a call in to Ford. He was waiting on a call back from someone who can actually do anything. I dont expect a response until tomorrow.

Looks like Im stuck with a spoiler. Ford Corporate screwed up my order when they changed the gears manually. So I either take it with the spoiler or reorder (and wait who knows how long).

Ford claims because of the high volume of Customer Cars they have received an unusual number of spoiler delete cars so this item is on restriction. How the crap can the lack of something be on restriction? Apparently the holes are predrilled for the spoiler and they dont have enough non-drilled deck lids on hand.
