My 08 GT with 16k miles and a certified preowned with the 100k warranty was $19,000 when i bought it last year. 5 speed as well. Dealers like to ask a lot. Doesn't mean they'lll get it!

geez, and I thought SoCal was bad. Had a heckuva time finding a clean, low-mileage, non-abused car. Bought my '05 GT 'vert (5 spd. manual, Shaker1000) last August for $16k. Had 22k miles. Pretty much stock, except for the 20" rims, painted mirrors, and Saleen style bar... AND... not a single door ding.

Yea... it kinda surprised me too. I called the day the ad went up & he already had it "sold" to a guy who was coming with "cash in hand". Well... THAT didn't happen. He said he gave the guy til the next day to pony up the cash or no deal. His buyer never showed. So he called me that afternoon & I was on my way to look at it within the hour (90 minutes away). As soon as I saw it, I knew I was gonna buy it. It met all my requirements for condition, mileage, & pricing. Could probably sell it for more than I paid for it. Carfax came back clean, and guaranteed.

Never really realized how bright "Torch Red" was in direct sunlight... it's BLINDING!

So far, am happy with it. No surprises yet... and it keeps my Cobra company in the garage.

If the regency company is in Houston, TX, my buddy bought a 2010 "GT R" from them. I believe it was a $3000 package. But for that $3000 they added a CDC Shaker, 20" black bullets with toyo's, painted the hood black under clear, rear 1/4 window louvers, and a vinyl blackout panel.

Yeah, it came with the stupid nissan gt r badges, but they are easy enough to take off. I think he got what he paid for. It might be a different company though.

I know I over paid for mine. I got an 08 GT/CS manual for 28k with 6k on it. SOCAL is nothing. I am in the military and live right around the base and they know most of us have not been hit by the economy and have money. I also told them I wanted a white GT premium or GT/CS which is GT premium with a sticker. The Ford Dealer had a shortage on Stangs because they were waiting on the 2010 so they found me one in North Carolina and had it shipped which added 600 to the cost. I must say I am still happy at the end of the day.
