LT Headers

Because some people want a mustang but they can only afford one car. Therefore it is probably a daily driver, and you need some decent gas mileage. How is that so hard to understand?

Then again, you have 4.10s and cams, so you can't be too worried about gas I guess...
I'll tell you this. I had ARH 1 5/8" LTs and O/R X with the Borla Stingers, and the trumpeting was too much for me. I switched to Pypes mid-mufflers and the trumpeting is a lot less, but it's still there to a degree. I just hope I don't have to change any part of the exhaust once I get my cams in.

Is trumpeting the same as drone? I have pretty bad drone. I avoid certain RPM ranges when I am cruising. The 410s didnt kill my gas mileage too much. My commute consists of alot of city driving so it is easier to get to cruising speeds faster.

It's going to be a while to justify a $600-1200 investment in headers (more if you farm out the labor) to make up for any fuel mileage increases. If you get a 2 mpg increase that cost is about 21.4 cents per mile savings at $3 per gallon. If you go with Kooks ($1,200) plus labor ($400) it will take you about 80,000 miles to break even. You would probably make more money by putting the cost of the headers into a CD.
PS, my math sucks, but you get the idea.
