so its essentially a catch up to the 5.0 package.
i am going to seriously consider this over forced induction. especially with all the blown engine threads that have popped up recently.

Even with "safe" boost, FI is a huge risk. That pressure and heat can be mean. This package will give you at least what the non-intercooled FI packages give and is MUCH safer. Plus sounds killer.

You can pass emissions with this no problem as long as your exhaust and tune is in shape. The exception being California. Those ***** hate everything that's not built for tree huggers (which is funny b/c back in the day, Cali was THE place to go for muscle cars and hot rods - that's where it all happened). But in Tx only a few counties do emissions anyway.

I'd love to finish mine off with the heads/intake/TB but I dunno. I really want a 5.0 so that money would serve me better as a down payment. My car as it is now, even with 3.31 gears puts me all kinds of sideways. It did today and good thing for my TCS, LOL!

I think the whole point of this thread was to make aware those who don't want FI, so stating you'd rather go FI is kinda pointless I personally want to go FI, but I also like this package! All I need is the heads and that intake though since I just got the cams and the LTs and the intake i've had. Sweet deal regardless!!

This package would work very well with a centri too. Of course, after you slapped in an Aluminator.

Ive looked at and considered this package as well. Decided though that I probably wont do heads unless I blow up this motor due to cost and cash flow. As for the intake I'm waiting till it hits the market which I dont think its actually released yet depite being advertised.

Yeah go for FI if you want it, but do it after doing these mods maybe you get where you want to be with less boost.

I've never been big on FI either. I plan on something like this, but with a 302 stroker kit as my main power adder

i know itll be expensive, but I'm a diehard N/A guy, so yeah

This looks good extra power without the extra weight of a supercharger a winner in my book.

would be nice to have all those bolt-ons to support a blower though
I'm aware they're flywheel #'s which is why I said the blower is the way to go for cost and gains....425hp - even flywheel - N/A is impressive. It's in line with the new 5.0 and it's a nice package
