Default removing spring isolators

Anyone remove their spring isolators to get a little extra drop? If so how much did you get? I have the steeda sport springs but want a little bit more drop but dont want to change springs. I like how the ride and the fact that they are linear rate springs. running d specs so I have some control over the ride also.

If you remove the isolators then you are going to get a lot of metal on metal action and you will have more creaks, moans and pops than a middle aged lady of the night!

Not to mention the springs would fit in the cups loose and will cause all kinds of alignment issues.

I forgot to put the spring isolators in over a year ago, I have steeda sport springs and dspecs. I have no creaks, moans, pops, and had no trouble being realigned. Plenty of miles on beat up Minnesota roads and I have no problems.

i would not go through the trouble of taking all of them off, it will gain you 1mm more of drop if that. im just stating if you forgot to put them on, i think it will be ok.

bmr lca's, bmr adjustable panhard, bmr camber bolts, tokico dspecs, steeda sport springs

How much did the steeda sport springs drop your car? Internet says 1" front, 1.25" rear, but I know they are rough numbers...

I'm looking to do 1.5"front/2"rear once I move down south. Think BMR still makes the 2" kit
