I would look at the BFG's or Goodyears.
Did you always have wet traction issues or after you wore them in? I actually had very brief slip in the mornin rain, but i was at a stop making a right turn on a very minor up slope. Never had it slip before.. was again my left rear.. strange TCS was off. I never drive with it on anymore.

They were on the car when I bought it, so I dont know for sure. They have sucked since I have owned them though. I have gone to a touchless car wash here twice now, and it has a metal track that pushes your tire along. Both times I have had to get out and push my car (with help from the attendants) cuz there is a little lip that is metal too and once I stop, I cant get going again, tires just spin. I would say its a dumb idea to have the metal there in the first place, but I have yet to see another car have the same issues.

Wow yea, I've never had that problem yet and I've been thru touchless washes. Might have to do with either the treadwear or the tiresize. I don't recall what size you were running in the rear. Any issues otherwise street driving?

275 30's in the rear. Dry weather, I cant really say I have any complaints, they get the job done pretty well.

Oh k. I take it easy in the rain but was just thinking if there was anything I should look out for. Wonder if sidewall height would play a factor cuz I got 285 40.

been almost a week now with my Bridgestone 760 Sports. Things are like riding on rails compared to the BFG KDWs that came stock.

You can really feel the sidewall difference with these tires. and the upsize to 255 helps alot as well. now if only my 275 width for the rears would ever show up

BF Goodrich KDW (or KDW2, I still don't know the difference )

I'm running 18 x 9 up front with 255/45 and 18 x 10.5 out back wrapped in a 285/40. I actually ran across an incredible deal on 2 335/30 18's... and I wanted them SO BAD, but I finally came back to reality and decided they were too big for my rim. :[

Yea, 335 is huge! And the price for some 12-13" wheels is going to be huge too.

I looked up the specs on your sizes and both are 27". I'm considering a 255/40 & 295/35 setup which would be 26" & 26.1". Would that cause any issues other than needing speedo recalibrated, which I'll have a tuner anyways? I suppose it'll leave a larger wheelgap than stock also, but I plan on lowering as well in the future
