What are good springs to use that dont need shocks/struts? Ford racing k-springs?
http://www.americanmuscle.com/fr-2005-k-springs.html Im only looking for a 1.5 inch drop with a good ride still without buying shocks/struts. I have 20 inch rims with 35 sidewall on the tires so i can lower a little without scrapping with my cervini front. I was looking at those ford racing springs and them seem ok. Also wondering if 1.5 drop makes and good handling differences? less squat? Thanks

I'm running the K-springs on my otherwise stock Mustang. They ride rougher than stock, but it's certainly tolerable. You don't need a panhard bar or camber plates. Just make sure you get an alignment. My car currently has -1.5 negative camber on both front wheels, everything else was aligned to spec. That little of negative camber isn't enough to hurt anything and my tires are wearing evenly as well.

any lowering spring you get will wear the stock shocks/struts out faster. how much faster depends on things. I noticed a stiffer and alittle more bumpy ride after putting the FRPP springs in.
About a year after doing just springs i put tokicos in and the ride was improved by a good margain. with a 1.5 inch drop your rear will be misaligned unless it was somehow off the other direction from the factory, which is doubtful. you dont have to replace it with an adjustable one if you dont want to. its just recommend.
its your car, you can just put springs in and wait and see how you like it and then upgrade what you feel like you need/want to.
You might or might not need caster or camber adjustment. I didnt when they aligned it but you never know
