Unhappy Need Help With XCal2!

I got a tune from Brenspeed for the cam install. I had three Bamachips tunes on it already for previous mods which Brenspeed didn't take off two tunes when they put the cam tune on. Brenspeed sent me an updated tune file via e-mail in .cef form. I have Live Load 3 and Live Updater 2 which LL3 is supposed to read .cef files but it doesn't acknowledge the file when I browse for it.
Also I set the car back to stock tune and deleted the files on the tuner because I wanted this new tune to be the only one on the tuner. Now I am stuck with the car on a stock tune and I can't start it like that and the new tune won't download. SCT won't open until Mon and I'm not sure about Brenspeed. Any ideas?

Don't browse for it. download it manually to the desktop (save target as or save file as) and locate it manually when you open livewire. Thats what I did...

+1. I understand you deleted the old tunes not to confuse them but, you should be able to rename the tunes before you upload to the hand held. I was able to.

Well the XCal2 crapped out. I've got an XCal3 already loaded with the tune I need coming from Brenspeed. Luckily I set the stock tune back on the car - unfortunately that means I can't start it until I get the new tuner.
Thanks kindly to you guys for your help!

Did you update the firmware for the Xcal2? I had a problem recently uploading my new tunes on my Livewire because of the new file format and Chris Rose set me straight on what to do. Updated the firmware on the tuner and loaded the new updater program on the laptop and everything worked fine. Might want to give that a shot.

Later,

The Xcal2 died - won't even power up.
