OP, you will prolly enjoy both cars, but at a mustang forum your gonna get the American Muscle majority. Repair costs alone should sway you to the stang. 400 HP dude!! Nuff said.

Buying American for the sake of buying American doesn't make sense. I don't support unions that fatten their wallets while screwing the American consumer. Having said that, the Mustang is the superior car. If any one can name even one way that the 370Z outperforms the 5.0 (be it performance or practicality), then maybe I'll change my mind. The fact is, the 5.0 is faster, HANDLES BETTER and is much more practical than the Z.

+ 1 the Mustang is a value consider general maint. cost and replacement parts are cheaper. Over the life of the car it is cheaper and less time to hunt down parts for our cars. I have been to Japan and they still want to take us down as do others get out of the house more.It was a kind hearted American that saved my family from being wiped out!

You know most Japanese cars are made in the US right? Honda's first major car manufacturing facility was actually built in Ohio, not Japan. Accords, Civics, CRV's and so on all come from Ohio.
Detroit is a ghost town because domestic manufacturers offered inferior products, mismanaged funds, and had massive legacy costs from unions. Domestic quality is starting to come back around, but they paid the price, well, WE paid the price because the federal government stole our money to prop them up. Last I checked, that wasn't in the Constitution. Sounds a bit communist to me. But it sounds like you like that. Just like your intense xenophobia.
I have two domestics in my driveway now because Ford happened to meet both of my current vehicle needs. However, before I had a string of about 7-8 Hondas, a few Mazdas, a Toyota and others I can't remember. I'm going to exercise my rights, support the free market and buy what I want. Before you humorously try to claim yourself a patriot for buying inferior cars, take a look at the place of manufacture on the things you use on a daily basis. Traitor. lol
