at that point its all in how the tuner gets them dialed in...if you do it without a tune you're gonna be disappointed with the loss in tq. right now i'm getting as much power as hot rods if not more and i've just got a stage 1 comp cams..but if u want sound by all means go with the detroit rockers or the comp ***** thumpr's

You can't do it without a tune...a cammed 3v is undriveable without one. You'll stall everytime you take your foot off the gas!

My car is running really rich and the timing is a little too advanced, so I think when I get Chris Rose my A/F ratios, he'll be able to make me a much better tune and get some more ponies out of it. I also need to get cmcv deletes...you can see that really bad in my power curve around 2800rpms.

The race tune chris made me actually dyno'd less than the street tune with a worse curve, so, like I said, I might be up around that 350whp range with a better understanding of the car on my tune.

I also need to change out my plugs and I just cleaned my throttle body...that was NASTY. So maybe I can free up a couple ponies there. I bought the car with 70k+ miles on it and I don't think the plugs had been changed since the guy went BY THE BOOK with Ford's services.

that would be awesome if i could get 350rwhp. then ill try out the frpp intake mani and see if i could hit 360+ rwhp. ill have mine dyno tuned and the guy that does it knows his stuff. he told me he made 365rwhp with hot rod cams, obx headers, o/r h-pipe, c&l racer intake, and udp's. if mine could make that ide be thrilled

ya, look for jasperGT and see his recent posts...his post about him installing the cams and udps, has a pic of his dyno.

Mine should be posted either tomorrow or whenever the shop is done jerking me around about getting it out of their "thumb drive". gay.
