I was surprised last night when I fired up the beast after installing the Macs. It was not much if any louder than the Stingers, just different. It has no drone of obnoxious sounds at any rpm....just sounds good. The Macs really bring out the cam lope at idle. I would like to put an offroad H pipe on, but fear the noise level would go beyond my likeing. Not much time on the Macs...but like them so far.

No I don't have a before and have not made an after yet. I left my SD card at work and did not have it available last night. I'm headed to Dallas tonight and won't be back until late Sunday night, but can try and get the current setup videoed next week.

Thanks everybody for the kind words. Yes we are very lucky to have Bren so close I'm 200 miles away but thats close considering Pat lives in the South Pacific.
Well I'm glad everybody is getting the exaust worked out not to say before the chambered it sounds bad just that the straight thru does not catch all that these cams offer and did not want anybody left in the dark.So JW we are looking forward to your vids.If I can figure it out or someone advise me how to post a vid U can hear the difference.

I just had the Detroit Rocker cams installed on my car and am running MAC mufflers and a Pypes off road h pipe. I think it sounds great! I have had several compliments on the sound of the car already. I will try to get a video and post it.

T.W., the only way I know to do it is with photobucket.com, I'll get mine up as soon as I can and abrush, that would be great...will help me to decide if I want to take the next step with the offroad midpipes. Very benificial thread!

Given my existing mods, what would my HP level likely increase to with these cams? 320?

Just go to youtube.com and register an account with them, its really easy and free. You upload the video to their site, click on it to watch it, then copy and paste the address to a post on this site.

That is something that seems to be sooooooo varied and that is dyno results from dyno to dyno, brand to brand and of course altitude, humidity not to speak of how the operator holds his mouth while he's running it. My setup at Brenspeed produced just over 316 rwhp with a nice torque curve peaking at a little over 309. They only ran it up to about 6300 rpm and I think it would have shown a few more if they had run it up to 6500-6600. From reading the hundreds of posts on dyno results, it seems I could take it to another or dyno and get something waaaaay different. So I have decided to be happy with the fact that it hauls and for a daily driver, it satisfies my but dyno. I would love to have a dozen guys with the varied range of hp numbers in one spot at one time on the same dyno and see what shakes out.
