Default Replace taillight bulbs with LEDs?

Went the NiteShade route a few weeks back, and I love the look. However, during the day, my taillights just aren't bright enough. I'd rather not redo the taillight smoke, so would it be a plausible idea to replace the 4057LL bulbs with LEDs?

I don't know if it makes a difference, but I have sequentials from an eBay merch.

Here's my LED setup with my Meter4it sequential/chase kit. No load resistors were required. The LED's worked right out of the box.

Look, I hate to state the obvious, but I would advise removing the tint. It's just unsafe. Plus, you wouldn't have to swap out bulbs either.

naw f that, keep your tint, just redo it so its not super dark, or consider covers...But yeah, LED bulbs are definitely a lot brighter and better overall, i'm considering some for my tail lights because I was so happy with how my turn signals turned out, plus i'm getting sequentials this week off craigslist

LED's are a different spectrum of light from normal bulbs.

they don't show up during the daylight. even the OEM LED tails are hard to see in daylight. couple that with the tint and you are back to the same spot you are currently in...just daylight now.

the LED's will help at night. brighter than hell, so the tint should be offset.

I honestly think you should strip the tint off and go the legal route.

I will not be a part of this taillight tinting carp.
Buy the bulbs, install them, and get back to us if they dont work...
You be the Guinea Pig

Seriously though, LOAD RESISTORS - AUTO ZONE
so the SJB will be a happy camper...

meter4it kits employ internal load resistors hence they
dont need them with SpyderLites...

Aaaand Most Valuable Post goes to: None other than 157dB. Thanks, man.

The lights work great at night, I have no problem seeing them. I've always had problems seeing them during the day, though, even before the NiteShade, so I'd like to replace the bulbs whether I ditch the smoke or not. I've already stripped the spray once before, I don't really want to do it again.
