Also, some people have had problems with the BBK intake and throwing check engine lights. I'd suggest a JLT or C&L intake (with a tune) both very good

I had Flowmasters and liked them, but they were too quiet so I switched to MAC's. Pretty happy with these. I also have the BBK intake, but I have a tune with it. Its a very good intake and there is no reason to get rid of it as suggested above. Other intakes are NOT better. Theyre all pretty much equal. You just need to get a tune to go with it and your all set. Welcome back to Ford!

I have the 44 series flowmasters on mine, and a bbk intake. It sounds good idling, but I also get the rasp between 2-3k rpms. I haven't tried resonators yet.

I'm just saying that a lot of people seem to have had problems just running the BBK and to take that into consideration.

You have almost the same mods as me minus the cams and gears. Do you find the rasp between 2500-3000 rpm's bad. If so what did you do to get rid of it? I was told to try resonators.
WEll I havent added resonators and to be honest it doesnt seem as raspy loud now. Still some of that raspy loundness when im accelerating and not trying to be quiet. But it hits that raspy loundness right when it goes into gear. So maybe the breakin periord for flowmasters is true as it seems to me that they are getting rid of that raspiness. IF it were to stay like it is right now i could totally live with it. It seems to me that the rpms for that raspy sound 1800 to 2300. Does anyone have resonators on there flowmasters
