i called up stainless works and figured out my problem. i was missing a connecting 10" pipe for both sides. this should take care of my problem....hopefully. 1 thing im not ganna like is 4 band clamps per side...thats like a 100 bucks in clamps

 

Installing a CAI alone (assuming it was installed properly) would not cause these issues as a result of the car not being tuned for it.
